Uses of reflection
Reflectors on bicycles reflect light from the vehicles.In this way, drivers are able to see the cyclists on the roads. Reflectors can also be found on jogging shoes.
A mirror reflects light. Mirror can be arranged to create a path for light to help us see things that are out of our sight range. A mirror is not a source of light as it does not give off light. We can see our reflection in the mirror because the light from our surroundings falls on our body and is reflected on
to the mirror. The mirror with its smooth surface then reflects the light into our eyes.
The amount of light passing through a material or object can be measured using light sensor connected to a datalogger.
